Les recommandations de Deanzilla

Un de mes collègues américains (http://twitter.com/deanzilla) m'a recommandé les lieux suivants à Berlin :

Before I meant to send you some notes on Berlin. So, a few quick recommendations. My touring was mostly in Mitte and Tiergarten, so there's much more to explore.
Good reasonably priced hotel in Mitte:

Better hotel, but more important is the restaurant. Is worth a meal here:

I suggest you do the "Wall Walk". I started from the Hotel Berlin and followed the Wall Walk through Mitte and Tiergarten trying to hit all the main attractions. Along the way you walk through Tiergarten, see the memorial to the murdered jews, stop at Brandenburg Gate (and have a curry wurst from a street vender), get to Checkpoint Charlie and have a meal or coffee at the famous Cafe Adler, then end up in front of the Reischstag then to the Hauptbahnhof, which is the central station and shopping mall altogether (where you can conveniently then take a taxi back home after having walked so long). All those attractions I mentioned are worth going to.

BTW, Frommers online is pretty good (http://www.frommers.com/destinations/berlin/), but I think I mainly used the analog Time Out guide.

If you're adventurous and have someone local to help you get around, would definitely recommend a dinner field trip here:

It's in East Berlin and hard to get to. Rough neighborhoods and train rides from Mitte, so not a place to travel alone. But, once you get there you're in a medieval town that was missed in the bombing. It's like a trip back in time. The ratskeller has amazing German food and drink, plus great music. Try the pork tartare...it was incredible...
